Transfer of 5 days old embryo dates as above.

While most sperm were released during intercourse, the above were released via masturbation and fertilised an oocyte on a dish.

The first 3 were grade A embryo but they failed to implant due to my enlarged uterus.

Unfortunately, the embryos this time were of poor quality and my doctor insisted I proceed with the transfer on Monday because the embryos may not survive if they go through freezing and thawing. Sounds very much like meat.

I was upset with the poor quality. Of course I was upset. I have been eating right, gave up alcohol and late nights. I even quit my job in horrible environment!

11 eggs were retrieved, 10 used for fertilisation but only 6 fertilised. Out of 6, 2 were disposed and 4 were growing but not normal.

We do not know at this point if it is the egg or sperm quality that affected the embryos. Part of me want to blame my husband but it could jolly well be me.

Hence, I told him if we do not succeed this time, we have to lose weight, go for TCM treatment and start eating right TOGETHER.
