You know those aunties and uncles you see at the parks on mornings and evenings exercising at the park or at Community Centres?
I’ve officially joined the club. 🤣

I started Taiji class last month and I am currently learning 42 Form.
“Aiyer, why you so old fashioned.”
“Huh?”
“Don’t make me laugh leh!”
Cannot meh? Why you laugh? Why?!
Taiji survived for centuries for nothing is it?
Why Taiji?
Guess the meaning: “Wah, he/she always Taiji their work.”
Push and pull. I hope I can learn something from the lessons and apply it at my future workplace. Nah, I’m just kidding.
I appreciate Taiji for its Yin and Yang philosophy and I’ve always find martial arts cool and it is one of my favourite sports to watch during SEA Games. I like it so much that I intend to send my son for class when he’s older. I will be so proud of him if he can represent Singapore and stay at Sentosa Cove like this guy next time. 🤣
If my son asks me why he needs to learn martial arts I can simply say “老娘也是习武之人!” (I am also a martial arts practitioner!)
Fact is, I’ve been looking for an avenue to keep myself fit since I’ve not been cleared for intensive exercise. Who would have thought gyms would be closed again due to another outbreak of Covid-19 in the community?
I told myself I’ll do yoga at home everyday but I’ve never practiced it again. Plus certain poses makes my heart beat faster which I’m not sure if it’s okay.
So… Let’s Taiji together?
