I bought this book as a show of support to my friend, Sharyl. The book is available for sale on Amazon.

An entertaining book obviously written by a man. I will not be surprised if these were all from his own experiences.

Accounts of skid marks on underwear from the story in Bangkok made me laugh so hard.

The story of the male lead character blowing a ladyboy reminded me of a friend sharing a similar account of his as well in Bangkok as well. The real life encounter I heard was as good as what the book described, so it must have been good.

I can’t help but wondered if these are what Singaporean men look for when they they say are are visiting Bangkok. They may be 5 here but 8 in other countries. Solely because of currency.

Armpits came up a couple of times in the book. I am not sure what is men’s obsession with armpits. All I can tell you as a woman is, armpits is one of the last few places of ourselves we think are sexy. After all we are not Kaoru Kuroki.

Sharyl’s command of the English language is strong, and I felt that some of the vocabulary used can be simplified to reach out to a wider audience. Says me who reads but never written a book.

Maybe it’s too much suspense. I got bored reading and waiting for the two main characters to meet. They finally met in the last chapter! Just cut the crap. Meet and fuck and happily ever after already.

Then I am reminded, isn’t (sex) life like this?

It takes luck to meet someone with the same sexual frequency and chemistry.

While reading the book, I thought at least it seemed like there are people enjoying themselves.

It started funny, then serious and a bit rushed in the ending. I felt like there is enough space for book number two and I will be looking forward to it. 😁
