Merry Christmas to you. Hope you are spending quality time with your loved ones during this holiday period.

Christmas is not that much of a big festive season for me but it is a good opportunity to contribute to the economy and catch up with friends.

It is a waste to clear annual leave during this period because everyone else is on leave and there is no work to do anyway.

For this reason I decided to utilise my company’s medical benefit by going for a minor surgery right before Christmas and also use hospitalisation leave.

I am ok. Just a small surgery to remove lumps in my forearm. I have a scarred arm after this and I am considering getting tattoos to cover them up.

I think I am experiencing middle life crisis. May this be a good time to rest and ponder about life until the new year…
