Review of Resolution 2023

It is the time of the year to review my year 2023 resolution.

1. Read a book every month.

Instead of saying I failed, I choose to use more positive words and say I managed to achieve 75% of it at the second year. I find myself more willing to watch shows on Netflix than read.

I bought more books. Maybe I will read them next year…

2. Join 4 running events.

I achieved 75% as well. 2XU, JPMCC and Sundown. I signed up for Lazada run and didn’t show up because I wasn’t feeling well.

I wanted to join more than I got caught up with work and I didn’t want to pay premium for late sign-ups.

As this is for a fitness, I think I made it up by visiting the gym during lunchtime several times a week starting Q4. Epileptic machines and weights are my go to activities now. I can fit into female L size T-shirts without threatening to burst its seams now.

3. One social activity a month.

More than achieved this with meeting new people via my events management company, real estate business as well as socially.

I felt like I was meeting people for the sake of meeting. Is this called social burnout?

It got to the stage that I didn’t want to reply text and calls at all after that. I got quite stressed up.

4. Expand streams of income.

My cryptocurrency made 30% gains on paper. I’m not sure how to realise the gains. I am not sure if I want to cash out now.

My events management company bought me to a niche business where I make commissions off people buying urns, niche and funerals services… Now I can tell people I sell property for the living and dead…

5. Only buy when finished

This is more applicable on skincare. Then, I adopted some unopened skincare from my sister who is clearing her place for renovation.

Then I traveled to Seoul for holiday and now I have more than 2 years worth of skincare.
