Recently I joined the Telegram group of my new estate, where new home owners wait patiently and share news of the development.

This telegram group experience is new because I have never purchased a new development before and I didn’t know group chats and communities like this exists. Honestly, it has so interesting to “see” so many characters of my future neighbours.

You see, the public groups has property agents and pretty much vendors of everything you can think of, so someone (an owner of the development) volunteered to start another private one with real owners.

How do they verify? Well, you have to send a screenshot of the first page of your Sales and Purchase agreement.

No big issues to me since only the name and address is revealed, not my identity number. Besides, the disclaimer already state that they will not keep a copy. Why would they if they are volunteers? Plus there are 600 over units.

Apparently it is too much information for some and it created drama in the chat. I mean, if you are not comfortable then don’t join. What’s the issue right?

Anyway, there are so many sub chats created in the private group for those with different interests. I’m just active in the leisure and entertainment chat regarding mahjong, karaoke and drinking parties.

Hopefully the new neighbours and the new community will be great and problematic ones just stay away and don’t bother me. I didn’t pay so much money to make myself unhappy over silly stuff.
